Jason's Tournament 2025 Success

A huge thank you for all of those that took part in Jasons Tournament 2025!

You have helped to raise the huge amount of £1886.04 for our two chosen charities – Samaritans and Winston’s Wish. Both of which support people with bereavement and loss. As well as issues young people face on a day to day basis.

The amount raised is double that of last year, so thank you to everyone for your generosity and kindness you have shown. 

Jason’s Tournament is not only a fundraising and remembrance event but a time to come together and celebrate hockey, in a fun environment. All of the teams that came along threw themselves into the tournament with fantastic spirit and competitiveness. Plus, a bit of good old cheating in the bonus points inter- games. The fancy dress was exceptional this year, also the team’s intro dances are becoming rather good!!! – Fishing and Saga Cruise coming out as favourites.  

We must have in excess of 100 people taking part and spectating! Which is fantastic and even more impressive is the fact that the two portaloos where sufficient….phew! (or Poo??)

Jason’s committee sends a huge thank you to Maggie, Kevin and the Wakefield family for their support and providing most of the refreshments on the day. This allows us to raise so much for our chosen charities.
