It has been so rewarding to see the transformation of the Ladies 2nd team from start to end of the season. At the start of the season, we were a group of individual players, with varying degrees of skills and experience, struggling to get the results in spite of what seemed like a vast amount of work being put in. By the end of the season, however, we were working as a unit, each player knowing where their team mates would be, how they played and how to link up with each of them around us - this the result of a huge amount of commitment to training, and on a Saturday, shown by all of the Ladies 2s. I feel that throughout the season, the team has matured, grown in confidence, not just in themselves but in their team mates, and improved beyond measure - not just in terms of stick skills and game play, but as decision making hockey players. Thank you Ladies!
